The DVD and Blu-ray formats of the movie were released on February 5, 2008.ĭuring the film “I Am the Walrus” is performed by Dr. The movie was a romantic drama which used the songs of The Beatles throughout much as any musical would. (It had previously been shown at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, 2007.) The movie was directed by Julie Taymor who would later work with Bono and The Edge on the early stages of “Spiderman: Turn Up the Dark”.
